An Experienced Advocate
Our lead attorney and owner, Kathryn M. Fox, has many years of experience representing clients in and around Kern County. She has earned a reputation as a level-headed litigator who is determined to prevail for her clients. Kathryn Fox has found that a calm approach is often the best approach to obtain the results you seek.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Kathryn was a business owner for over 15 years. This experience allows her to view your individual case with a unique perspective. She is also very familiar with the California courts system and is well respected in the legal community, having been admitted in 2004 to practice in the United States Supreme Court. She is the past president of the Kern County Women Lawyer's Association and volunteers as a mentor for women who are just coming off of parole.
Kathryn always attempts to select the right legal tool for the task at hand. She is a skilled negotiator and utilizes alternative dispute resolution techniques when they can achieve the client's goals.
Kathryn M. Fox has been extensively trained including in mediation techniques and is a graduate of the Straus Institute-Mediation Training at Pepperdine University. She also serves as a mediator for Superior Court cases in Kern County. She has also served as a Judge Pro Tem in Kern County Small Claims Court.
